Users have been asking for plugins since we launched ChatGPT (and many developers are experimenting with similar ideas) because they unlock a vast range of possible use cases. ![]() I could use much nicer small features to help me, on top of my head an archive, for things you won’t need on top of your search, and also a way to fast tag a search to actually push these things to archive in like one key stroke.In line with our iterative deployment philosophy, we are gradually rolling out plugins in ChatGPT so we can study their real-world use, impact, and safety and alignment challenges-all of which we’ll have to get right in order to achieve our mission. my search are bloated, the new notes on random topic take over the good ol’ references. happy 10y ago, don’t care about all other features beside markdown shortcuts used Bear, but nah, it’s more for writing, not really the power of massive note taking Now in the end I find it mostly one shot notes, like a notebook and the max version is bugged these days Notability for the nice pencil notes on iPad. Lacks searching power but you could probably push it to a high level now that they take tags Apple Notes, always there, instant, and basic but good for most note taking features. The queen Evernote still reigns, love hate for 15y, but then most of the other ones are for convenience
